Living
Abstinent Groups
are educational support
groups for people with eating addictions. The focus in Living
Abstinent Groups is on understanding eating disorders
as an addictive disease, breaking the dieting mentality,
and dealing with body image by applying spiritual principles
in our daily lives.

- Maintenance as a reality
- What about exercise?
- Relapse attitudes and
indicators
- Body image issues
- Identifying how we've
"used" our addiction

our disease
- Identifying and releasing
old ideas
- Establishing sane and
sound beliefs
- Separating codependency
issues from body image issues
- Embracing the concept
of ceasing to fight anything or anyone
